Sweet Potato Pie

I am collecting these recipies too.

( Taste of Home's Quick Cooking, December 2000, pg. 17)
     
      Mix together:
     
      1 1/2 Cups sugar
      2 tablespoons sll-purpose flour
      1 can evaporated milk (5 ounces)
      1 egg, slightly beaten
      1 teaspoon vanilla
      2 Cups mashed cooked sweet potatoes (about 3 potatoes)
     
      Pour into:
      9" Pastry shell
     
      Mix together:
      1/2 Cup sugar
      2 1/4 teaspoons sll-purpose flour
      2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
      2 tablespoons evaporated milk
      Drizzle over the pile filling
     
      Garish with pecan halves:
     
      1/4 Cup pecan halves
     
      Put foil loosely over the edges and Bake at 375 for 45 minutes.
      Remove foil and bake 15 more minutes until the pastry is brown.
      A table knife inserted in the center should come out clean.
