Fabio to Jump Ship!

I can't go, but I have some news. Fabio has not fallen off the face of the earth!
Oh good.
Fabio will be in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on February 11th on behalf of Princess Cruises Valentine's Day celebration. And the webmaster can't go! (I have been out of work so much with the surgery and Christmas. I must behave!)
Press people have contacted the Miami station and they are in discussion. We are hoping that it will work out and they'll pre-promote Fabio's arrival on the ship so that listeners attend and then the station can come to the pier and do some taped interviews.
Well, we hope so!
The event will take place at 8am ET on Friday, Feb. 11 at Port Everglades terminal in Ft. Lauderdale, FL . The terminal is at 1800 Eller Drive and the ship will be in berth 2.
Fans will greet Fabio when he disembarks the ship and be able to get autographs with him (or photos if they bring a camera).
All fans must depart by 10am ET.
(I think the ship becomes a pumpkin at 10AM.)
I've been promised a photo.
The I Can't Believe its Not Butter website will supposedly post photos of Fabio in New Zealand (making the new commercial). This is from the commercial the fans are mounting a letter writing (or e-mail writing) campaign against! NOT ENOUGH FABIO IN IT! And why didn't he wake up the princess?
He's aging well. Nothing wrong with an older man. (Let's ignore the fact that I am older than he is!)
The fans are also complaining that the cookbook with him on the cover is TOO SMALL and the inside photo of him is illegible. The fans are a rabid bunch!
Eric also sent ICBINB shots of Fabio with the Vice President and his wife when he was in Washington in October. Those are supposed to go up on their website too.
Guess I need to remind Eric - I am THE webmaster! I have a loaded G4! A UMAX PowerLockII scanner! And I know how to use it!
I shall now sulk.
I have threatened Eric with stalking if I don't get any new photos!
