After 8-9 months I was considered "recovered" from the liposuction. And I was keeping the 6 lbs. Off. But, I wasn't going down. In spite of watching what I ate. In spite of exercise. I was staying right at 186 lbs. So, we go in again. "Thyroid too low. Needs to go back up," says the doctor. "Need to burn off the weight." I am now at 0.9 estrogen, and 0.175 mg synthroid. "Need to reve up the metabolism.," says the doctor. "Need Medifast," I say. I got it. It's by prescription. Losing 1.5-2 lbs a week. Good. My dress almost fell off at the bachelor auction. Lost weight between fitting it and wearing it. Now at 175lbs. Good. On the date I will fit the dress 3 days before. And make it tight. Fine. Let's try for 165lbs. They drew more blood. The bruise is receding. I am waiting for a prescription - I have samples for the 0.175 synthroid - waiting on the tests. Too high? High enough? I do know all my fingernails became brittle They are all short. But my hair is long. Too long. I am no longer 40" chest (bra band), 40" waist, 40" hips. I am 39" chest, 36.5" waist, 39" hips after 4 weeks. Good. Now my pants won't fall off. My chest still likes 1X but will accept XL. I can wear Delta Burke LARGE. Good. Progress. At this rate I don't need to shop - just unpack my other wardrobe. I can wear my Boy Scout pants. Hate the olive drab. Can't close the floor length mink yet. Have to drag it around behind me. (DO NOT COMPLAIN - I bought this USED about 19 years ago. Before all the fuss over furs. Before I started raising Chinchillas. As pets.) Why waste it? |
