![]() This is a ghost house. The arch and the atrium behind it has been demolished. The slab is about to be poured for a new room - 15' by 31' - to give us breathing room. It's hard to unpack a 2800sq ft house into a 1100 sq ft house, even if one child did leave home. |
I LOVE this old lady - Her bag reads "You really desrve a nice gift. This isn't it." I don't have the "I love my attitude problem" coffee cup, I have "There are easier things than meeting a good man. Nailing jello to a tree for instance." Probably why I chase after a certain tall blond god. Probably why we all do. |

![]() And on his 17th birthday - white water rafting with the boy scouts. |
![]() My older son (on the right) and his significant other, leaning on his other significant other - the notorious Tacoma.
My sheep dog - being sheepish - if she gets real small we forget she's in the house and don't make her go outside. She is not a dumb dog. But don't reach over the fance, she will take your hand off. She knows this is the best home she's had and she ain't gonna let you take her away. Or let you in it, either.
![]() Ranger, the new cat. He is half-wild - a humane scoiety baby. We've had him since he was 4 mos. Old. I have to lock him out of my room at night (pisses him off) because he likes to jump on me on the way to the window. Hard to sleep that way. And he loves to chase the dog from bed to bed. So for peace, I sleep with the dog by my bed and Ranger sits on my son. Ranger will bite and scratch - so he watches the inside of the house.
