Trim (The Wonder Dog Border Collie) Needs Prozac

2005 Story Set

Date: Monday Dec 11th - Continued
      Trim Needs Prozac
The vet said so months ago - I kept hoping she'd get it together.
SIX SCREEN DOORS, A GARAGE DOOR and TWO KITCHEN DOORS LATER ---- TWO HOUSES ---- GUESS NOT!!!

Not after she got thru logs and boards to get back into the garage and then started on the kitchen door!

I gave her a great dental bone - she buried it.
I sat outside and refused to let her inside - I on my swing and she trying to climb in my crotch.

My second trip out - in a coma after boxes and dresser drawers and John's clothing and misc other stuff hauled in from the garage and up the the third level (packing on one level - unpacking on three- not the same effort---)

Well - I was sipping Diet Pepper (accidently bough caffeine free - ick! no! need drugs!) and refusing her attentions - she dug it up (I watched her) and then ate the whole thing (4" bone - cleans tarter).
I have a bench across the steps - not that that would stop her - she leaps over the big storage camping box I use to block her gate.

Trim has lost the big scab from when she tore up her nose wrecking the garage door on my last trip north.
I drive up again Tuesday or Wednesday.
Can't wait to see what havoc she has wrought while I am gone this time!

For Christmas - she has to go with me and sleep in a motel.

Ranger is back to his old happy self - racing about leaping from throw rug to throw rug - skating all the small ones - I never know where they are.
I always hold onto the railing on the stairs.
He is demanding Friskies and canned cat food, taking over the couch (walking on me like I was furniture), and trying to escape at every opportunity.
The stairs have carpets so he goes up and down - tail up and the end tipped over at the speed of cat.

Trim - when she gets to come in - actually sleeps - out cold.
She ignores the cat and also anyone coming in and out of the house.

      I need a watchdog----.

Speaking of Trim - as I was typing this (upstairs in my office) I heard a thump and looked over and there is a red and white thing on my upper deck!
I guess the bench only held her for a couple of hours - she climbed over it (I know because barefoot in my caftan having just showered, I had run out and made her go back the way she came - and promptly locked her in her side yard (Deck is on third level - two stair sections - stumps at midway).
She went right in the dog house.
      Little shit.

Of course momma climbing barefoot over a bench to get back upstairs ain't happenin' - I went up inside.
She was so mad at being caught she tried to run off into the upper yard at first - where she likes to find and drag around the rat bait houses.
      Geeez!

I use the same - OK MOTHER HAS HAD IT voice to redirect her thinking that I used on the kids.
Fur children - yep - good description.
      Even works on Ranger sometimes.

There was this cute little orange kitten called Pumpkin Pie at Petco -----
