Saturday Follies

      I woke up at 4AM - turned off the TV and the mind went to bad places - so I gave up - and turned the TV back on.
      Guess I have to sleep with it on.
      Cannot take a vacuum.
      Loud music - fast music - noise - or TV - or movies (except I can't stop thinking he would have ---.
     Laughed.
      Asked me to repeat it (too soft a speaker).
      Offered a shoulder for violent or otherwise non-mother scenes.
      Saved my seat.
      Plowed thru the mess and waited patiently while I found the rest room.
      Had a medium or a large drink as required (when neutropenic I would smuggle in his drink).
      Argue over popcorn when we got it - I ate too fast - he ate one kernal at a time -----I like mine hot.
     
      So I got up at 7 - FASHION DAY.
      except I found little so far that I liked.
      at least searching the QVC homepage.
     
      The animals - to groom or not?.
      I cannot remember - it's what Chuck said - we lack FOCUS - our minds are busy churning over stuff.
      I showered - washed hair - supposed to be doing breakfast ----.
      I called Petco - groomers not in until 9.
      Andy due at 9 (contractor).
     
      I got the groomers - took the animals over - Andy late (fortunately).
     
      I look around - lots of stuff to do - lots.
      But I can't keep focused too much.
      I have accomplished laundry - three loads.
      I am thinking about the whole house needing painting.
      I cannot drive to San Diego until the rain lets up.
      I cannot drop his ashes for the same reason - tornados in Sacramento.
      That would not be good for a CESNA.
     
      So - I will do breakfast - find out about my kitchen remodel (needs to be done) and perhaps pick up paint today for the bedroom.
     
      My bathroom.
      And his - now the hall bath.
     
      I am moving things in there - slowly.
      It will stay blue.
      The kitchen will stay yellow - just a lighter color.
      My bathroom will go back to white - with all the ruby accents.
      Burgundy is leaving.
      I need to clean the linen closet.
      I need to finish the final tax sort.
      The hall looks shabby.
     
      The weeds are 2' high because of the rain.
      And every fruit tree bloomed.
