2005 Story Set
| Date: April 2, 2005 At my writing group today, we were discussing doing housework while naked ----. And a lady piped up with this story. She was remodeling a house. The whole house. And, after painting for a few days, had exhausted her painting clothes and was tired of doing laundry. You know the type of clothes I mean, the ones we all keep for doing dirty jobs like house painting. So --- to spare her good clothes and to avoid more dreaded laundry, she did what any sensible woman does. She decided to paint in the nude. It's easier to wash. (And if your husband complains about a spot you missed at clean up, just hand him a rag and tell him to take care of it.). Now this is all fine, provided you are home alone while doing your naked painting. That is the key. And provided that your college-age son is not due home at any time with a buddy to do some college homework project. SInce she is a writer, among other things, her son was, of course, aware that his mother was --- different. She thought nothing of opening the door in the nude while wearing headphones for example. The FedEx driver will never be the same. She had, of course, forgotten that he was coming. He had, of course, forgotten to remind her. Like calling ahead. He had warned his friend - just not enough. Upon bursting into the house with said friend, who was immediately bug-eyed, he grabbed his friend and shoved him back out the door while his mother "retired". To say that the young man had an eyeful was an understatement. It just goes to show that a whole lot of people do things naked. There are a whole lot of us naked housewives. We do all agree on one thing. Don't fry anything while naked. Write Naked!. |
