Bourbon Sweet Potatoes

      OH YEAH
      Roast the sweet potatoes (you can rub them with olive oil- why)
      peel and scrape into mixing bowl - 1 1/2 - 2 lb - adjust as needed.
      Mix in:
      1/2 Cup heavy cream (or cream and butter - or milk and butter - or readi whip or Haagen dazz or - you get the idea).
      1/4 C bourbon
      3 Tblsp light brown (Golden brown) sugar - or the Splenda brown sugar mix (1/2 and 1/2)
      2 Tblsp Molasses
      1/8 teasp salt
      Whip up with a mixer - serve warm (if you reheat you will have to add - more bourbon) - sounds good to me!
     
      While finding this recipe on-line - Chuck (My older son) was tormenting Summer (my kitten-cat). Of course he was.
      The result was she ran frantically everywhere then leapt onto the kitchen counter - ran over the stove - leaped over the two batches of bread that were raising while I stood screaming. (I make bread from scratch!)
      I grabbed her as she passed coming back over the sink - as a result - Chuck approached and she clawed the living shit out of me to get away.
     
      He caught her AGAIN and made her get petted for 10 minutes and fed her catnip - she got down and ran and got into her cage! (CAVE - safe ) He left
      her alone. BAD BOY! Something about sibling rivalry!
     
      He then had to rub Neosporine all over my shoulders and back and my left arm
     
      Game hens in wine and orange juice - relatively easy stuffing with celery, almonds, onion and Elephant Garlic.
     
      Cook for about an hour 325 - zap last 15 minutes at 500.
     
      Good thing I tidied up the oven after smoking up my family room.
