Fabio Birthday Dinner - Part 2

Salute! He was having a good time.

The candles were on a KILLER chocolate torte - one bite was enough for me (WAY too much sugar)

We of course sang to him (that was fun) He claims to be 28 (--- yeah right --- let's see - that would make me ------- 46? No - 60 is the new 30 ----- for as long as I can tell myself that!)

Actually - he hasn't aged much in the 14 years I've known him -- way to go Fabio!

Fabio doesn't eat sweets - or cake rather - he had a big bowl of strawberries
They cut up the torte and served it - before knowing I was pre-diabetic I would have gobbled it down! One little bite will not hurt - oh yes it did - made my teeth hurt! RICH!!!

I like my home-made chocolate fudge cake better - but I am restraining myself from all cooking except for protein and veggies. I really am trying to be good!

I went home to San Diego after the dinner and the next morning - added a cup of frozen strawberries to my bowl of Medifast oatmeal! Now If I can control the desire for peanut butter and chocolate, red wine ----- I just might drop those extra pounds!

Oh yes - I sat on my backyard swing to eat it - I'd been driving like a crazed person for two days -- needed a little peace before weed-whacking the San Diego yard. Hmmm - I think I need a handyman! One with muscles!
