      Never mind that I have NOT gotten them groomed in TWO MONTHS and they have CLAWS!
      Ripping up rugs - etc. - Letting me know my failings. Occasionally ripping up me!
      (They got shots - I just couldn't get in both vet and PetCo and the trip to and from the house in San Diego, and the Fremont cat groomer broke her arm).
      Summer has spent the last couple of mornings crying and stalking me because she doesn't like the lower level of the Chicken Fancy Feast 24-can pak - she will eat the bottom ones (upside down delivery) and then bitch half-way thru. The others she will gobble noisily. These she takes a couple of hours to clean up.
      I went to the store from work.
      I got SALMON feast instead of Chicken Fancy Feast cat food. They put something in it. Cats will not eat anything else after they have Fancy Feast
      Tomorrow Summer gets SALMON.
      Tomorrow should be hilarious.
     
      Tomorrow WAS hilarious. I was stared at. Cried at. Stalked. Ignored. She wouldn't sleep with me (until I was asleep). I am missing a trouser sock.
      She even pulled Ranger's trick at one point - "OK - I will gobble dry food and PUKE ON YOUR CARPET!"
      She cries - I pick her up and pet her - squeeze her - cuddle her (carefully since she has claws) and flatten her under me and purr in her ear.
      She doesn't shut up! I won't give in!
      She will not get a second can of expensive cat food in the morning (besides - she won't like it either - same level).
      With Ranger on tooth-watch and the dog Trim (at 15 yrs) on special Kidney food -----
      My life is not my own.

      PS: after 13 hours, THIRTEEN HOURS OF DEDICATED CAT BITCHING, I opened a can of Chicken Fancy Feast for breakfast.
      Ranger is enjoying the Salmon.
      Score one for Summer. I bought more Chicken.
