Diet Sabbotage - or, Self-Destructive Behavior

2008 Story Set

 Date: September 28, 2007

Medifast ready to drink meals are a whopping 90 calories. You are to have five per day or 450 calories and then you are supposed to have a meal.
I sort-of fell off the diet truck and am scrambling to get back on.
Where are my bad calories coming from?
Wine - I dropped weight when I stopped drinking it. That goes for Jack too (or Jim or whatever) - no liquor! I am back to sipping.
Nuts - I love Peanut butter - so I got the low sugar kind, and the 50/50 one and some other experiment. YUCK. I allowed Fremont to run out - and am about out in San Diego . Must stop it.
I love almonds and sunflower seeds, and dry roasted peanuts and walnuts. Even the Heart Smart mixed nuts. I even got into my cooking pecans.
      The nuts have to go.
No adding them to the All-Bran muffins - especially since I am not supposed to be baking or eating the muffins anyway. Esp. not with butter and jelly. (But then, I am not supposed to be eating the tops off pizza slices either.)
Raisins - which I put in the muffins and in my Medifast oatmeal. Nope - They must go. (I am keeping the prunes around however)
      (This is killing me!)
I use lite mocha Starbuck's when driving to San Diego - must have - and a Double Shot Lite - must have - that's TWO meals - I count them.
But I have stopped drinking them during the week. They had crept back into my diet. Nope. OUT!
SOBE Green Tea - I use one when I drive to keep hydrated. I thought - low cal. Well, I was wrong! It isn't 100 calories a bottle! It is 250 calories a bottle! SO I am down to my last two bottles. This must go too. Back to Arrowhead or whatever.
Special K bars for lunch - turns out that they are 190 calories - or two meals.
      Curves bar is 100.
Medifast makes bars. They can be a meal.
Medifast tells you that you will lose slower if you eat them instead of sipping on a liquid meal.
One beef patty cooked and Olive Oil and served with a can of green beans (the typical can people - not a tub) - that's dinner.
Or a can of tuna - water-packed - drained - mix with hot sauce (1-2TBLSP) and served on a cup of lettuce - that's a meal.
A WeightWatcher's "Lunch" is a proper dinner - but the frozen meals of late make me sick and I have to believe that they were not properly stored during delivery and at the store. This is across all brands. Lucky cum Albertson's needs to check their products.
Oh yes, a Weight Watchers' ice cream desert - which I thought was low-cal, is 350 calories.
That's dinner. 2-3 tablespoons of melted and re-frozen desert stuff is a meal? No more of them either.
We won't discuss dark chocolate (loose it) and Haagen-Dazs ice cream. (Holy Moly - I even learned to spell it!) Even if they did come out with Belgian Chocolate, Amazon Chocolate and Myan Chocolate. Sadistic fiends!
