Loading the Truck - Another Haul South

      Chuck and Rob came by and loaded the truck ---- with a good number of their poles (cross-hatched because they are long) - the cats and dog are in for a wild ride! (Burning man stuff)
      I am moving one of their shade structures - load by load - out of my garage to San Diego.
      We put in some tarps and stakes and misc. other crapola into the truck.
      I can see a lot of the floor in the garage - good - needs cleaning.
      I need to dump the empty boxes (or pack stuff into them - I am thinking of loosing at least one bookcase).
      I have way too many books up here - accumulated over the past 1-2 years.
      I need desperately to find a queen-sized bed - new - semi firm - so I can sleep better.
      The sway in my old mattress doesn't help the leg injury (Torn cartilage is in the groin - explains my weird sleeping position).
      My computer chair at home isn't helping either.
      They shoved enough into the back of the truck that I will be loaded going down.
      San Diego will be 68 - 72 this weekend and sunny - YES!!!!!
      Animals will be groomed this next week.
      They are also due for shots.
      I am looking at what I need to round up and pack .
      I am washing tie-downs - Ranger peed on them -----.
      They are in bags and going thru the washer.
      Well - he won't have a lot to pee on - he's probably ruined the rug I had kept to put down in the garage if I ever found the floor.
      He's neutered so there is no excuse.
      I'll have to trash the rug probably - which pisses ME off!
      He just tried tearing up the wall to wall so I am about to get the broom and chase him back out to his domain.
      He just doesn't behave all the time and I won't tolerate his little temper tantrums
      Claw up a rug - puke from high places (better range that way) - and generally be a pain.
      God can he YOWL!!! LOUD!
      The boys went off to the city - Chuck nursing a headache and I gave him a cute red teddy - so soft and cuddly I couldn't resist it - for Valentines.
      Birthday will be done later - he mumbled something about a blue cake with a matchbox car in it -------just kidding. [No - I actually attempted to make one----]
      (I made him one on orders when he was little - and a pink strawberry cake one year as well.)
      I paid a high price at Long's but I grabbed some canned cat food (Fancy Feast). Can't be allowed to run out of that!
      Summer was in hiding from the boys but I am sure she will perk up shortly
