High Heat and a Blown Breaker

It is 9AM - and 73 degrees - and MUGGY! In Fremont! The heat is fine - the muggy is not.

It is absolutely HORRID. Stand outside and drag a hose and get sunburned.

I am watering - found yet another dirt wallow - must say - she's creative (My old Border Collie - always been destructive that dog) ---- another log needs to be dragged to the side ------ I fill her holes with logs.

I am thinking a load of cement bricks---- - the flat grill-decorative brick - lay flat over the ground maybe bring in a couple of guys - haul the plants out - except the juniper (need cutting back again). OK - tree guys on the list - both houses.

The dog is a royal pain in the butt! this is her way of getting even since she's now an outside dog.

The garage - no longer cooled - I have open to the rest of the house and a whole house fan running and central turned down to 71.

The damn wall unit hasn't kicked in yet - it has some wild thermostat - it's OLD and needs replacement!

THREE TIMES I have started to buy air units - garage and family room and three times got stopped - last time because Sears wants $365 per unit to install
---- and there is no electrical work needed
(One is slip in and slip out and one is punch a pre-planned hole - plug already there Sorry - $700 for THAT?)

I will be on the floor today.

All but one fan is in San Diego.

This one is huge however --- so later when I close the garage I can blow
the cooler air from the bedroom into the family area

5 days of this???

The wall unit clicked on finally ---- it will now run for about 12 hours ----- unless I stop it.

I will turn the other one up higher now.

I need to go drag hoses - the 2 of 3 working sprinklers have already run (I seem to have this problem at every house).

A few hours later - it is 80 in the house. I was typing and falling off my chair. Gasping. HArd to breathe. Finally noticed these things. I realized the Central air conditioner is blowing HOT air into the house. I raced outside - gasp and choke - and the big fan is just laying there.

I reset the breaker )other side of the house) for the big unit --- no joy.

The fan comes on - blows hot air all over the place. The wall unit is beating its brains out. 80 is critical temp for me -I can't control my body temp and it is too hot for me to deal with. Too hot for the little wall unit to keep down.

The "cool" thermostat for the big unit is flashing - which it never does.

I went out and stood there - I know nothing of the breaker fuse???? Don't se anything else to flip.

I don't know what happened (power drop?)

I have power but ------ the line can have surges and drops and we have lost power twice this week.

WHO DO I CALL???

This whole furnace/air system has never been right since it was put in
and just makes me madder every time it flips out on me. I never heard of a home unit being so bloody unreliable! At least it did its job for Johnathan. It's the after part that gets me.

Finally - no contractor answering - I went out and slammed the breaker OFF and slammed it back on (takes slamming - it is a BIG double-armed breaker).

I heard a loud hummmm. I went in and then out the other side of the house - the fans runs! I spent the rest of the day flat on the sofa. With a headache.
