19 Days and Counting

First - I never got the keyboards installed - TONIGHT!!! NAG ME!!!
so I didn't package up one

Second - I have yet to install the software on the new DELL! except for the security stuff SHOOT ME!! (Give you a hint - PCMOVER is a pieve of useless trash. And a bloody waste of time. Moved data fine - but I have a Buffaloa - 1 TB server - and data is not the problem.

It rained on the puppy and me - so we had a shortened walk.
She came home from the short walk and I put her out to finish whatever she needed to do ---- brought her in with the Bully Stick --- little stinker grabbed it out of my hand. (a Bully Stick is a dog treat - supposedly made from a Bull's Penis------ right up there with Rocky Mountain Oysters---. They were the hit of the training class. As the trainer siad, "Never seen her so still" --- chewing.)

I got out a second one - she's greedy enough she brought the one in her mouth with her and chased me right into her pen!

Third - I managed to get close to the 25K words on Rollover (my new hot cop story) --- with breadcrumbs in place where the story can be really beefed up (want 30-35K words - or - if it unfolds that way - 45-60K. (Actually over 27,000 at the moment) - took a writing workshop - know how to do the middle) (what weriter's and agent and readers call - the sagging middle) (except it's not supposed to sag.)

Fourth --- I stumbled into work - and after carrying a jacket in the car - actually 2-3 - ALL SUMMER LONG---
I came in today without any! and it is COLD! IT is either 60 or 90 - I never can figure out fall.
I wore velvet pants and a sweater set - IT CLOSES!!!!! It's never closed before!

(Mumble something about walking a baby beagle up to 4 miles a day)

I also came in without the grapes or the banana I am supposed to be having.

I am lucky I have my head.

and Fifth - still no PO!!!! OK - round and round - we are missing CHARGE NUMBERS IN THE SYSTEM for the two new projects. OK - can we say NO to SAP? Actually, the problem is my old "manager" - person signing SOW, PO, Timesheet (contractors do time sheetts) went to another department, so I have someone new at the task. That's never good because of the convoluted way that contractors are handled.)

So I still have no place to file an invoice for one department -
(Maybe tomorrow)(One came in - yea! Now I can file invoices! After the 4-hour design review in the morning - ZONK!)

Oh yeah.. last but not least - a surprise rain storm was just starting as I left - but on the the freeway I had 4-wheel drive assist running. Lovely. Means little devil gets to skip another walk.

Hark - the dulcet tones of a baby Beagle just summoned me!
