Puppies are Devils! Gracie into EVERYTHING!
You Just THINK Your House is Clean!

            The puppy got me ---- Gracie is a little devil. She is into EVERYTHING! And I am trying to be one step ahead of her. Trying is the operative word here! Last night I attacked the garage - Ranger's domain (the older orange tabby cat). Bad stuff out - clean floor in. Puppy needs a BIGGER playpen.

            This morning, I let her into the garage while I checked things in daylight. I saw garden stuff that just has to go. NOTHING near the floor that can be eaten. Including the older cat!

            Gracie (now 10 weeks old and a typical baby Begeal) ate cat hair with Lysol traces on it from the mop in the garage while I was chucking things I thought might harm her out the door - the cat hair was from the mop I have been using so the cleaner was well-diluted.

            That was at 7AM --- soo - I called the vet at 9 - again (this is a ritual since I got her) - they said feed her bulk ---- she'll pass it out. (She's fine.)

            Kibble wasn't interesting - so she got extra hamburger and cottage cheese which she turned into a vacum and ate and I am obviously - still home!

            And the plate is pretty clean - she will "hunt" hamburger. I have to stop giving it to her - one more day on pills.

            We will go play one more time in the yard after I take my pills and have a second cup of something - except it breaks her routine.

            She has adjusted to my schedule.

            And KNOWS it

            So, when I wasn't out of bed by 6AM - HOWL! Who needs an alarm clock????

            I had a brownie AND oatmeal for breakfast -- my pants are loose and my bra on its last hitch.

            Oh yeah -- you also don't have TIME to cook!

            I managed to cook two hamburgers for me - one for tonight - at 11 LAST NIGHT!

            But it was rice and steam in bag veggies the night before.

            I eat oatmeal out with her usually and have my coffee outside in the morning.

            I am 67 1/2 ---- the treadmill is idle ---- I sleep like a rock.

            If she were trained - she'd be cuddled in bed with me -- I can see this coming.

            I finally got to work. Must work. Puppies are expensive.
