Yard Work and Puppy Pads

I was working outside 6AM -1PM (Fremont house - to be fair - I had worked like six men at the San Diego one so it was time---)

- 1 hour down and then back out again for the last hurrah after playing with the puppy and then, while she napped (what I should have been doing), off to TARGET and THEN to Safeway.

It is now 4PM - I HAD the puppy up when I came back around 3 (she heard me) --- then she chewed the carpet - back in her pen!!!

The word NO is being learned - slowly

I had help with the groceries while she WAS up - she found the new bag of Frisky's Ocean flavor for Ranger and tried to open it for me!!! won't be long before she's have been IN the bag!

She sniffed everything in sight (bags on the floor)

She went outside and lay in a sunbeam (warm puppy)

She came back in and played with the cat (Summer not quite yet willing to be played WITH)

She has her toys mostly in a box - and so she can lift one or more easily out and run off around the bed - which she did. Summer was looking down from her perch - fascinated. Uh oh.

I staggered - STAGGERED around the bed - and there she was - gnaw gnaw gnaw - on the carpet piece. She's shredding the corner.

Back to the pen for an hour.

Maybe I can walk by then.

Summer would like to have her litter pan and the remains of her food down (Puppy again).

She asked nicely.

My feet - front, toes and the right heel (That's a pinched nerve - from dragging heavy cans around uneven ground) - HURT, My hips and knees hurt!

I need to collapse, so I will for an hour - then get her up and FEED her.

This is her preferred greeting when I come home - pick her up - carry her out with a food bowl in hand - and then---- she's on her back between my feet getting a proper greeting. Lots of petting.

Hilarious!

Her tummy is soft and warm and her little head! it's so tiny!

She loves her ears and behind her ears scratched (her ears are always wet after eating - she drags them in her food dish.)

But I must stop the carpet eating (these are throw rugs - even the big ones - and the carpet pieces).

I AM OUT OF NEWSPAPER!!!!!!! I will have to layer puppy pads tonight!

OH LORD - I FORGOT PUPPY PADS!!!!

Oh Well - I was planing on a Sunday Run to Orchard Supply - with a stop for the paper (actually - I buy 3-4 Sunday papers to supplement the puppy pads) -- hopefully my body will have recovered and will be able to stagger out after the morning run the puppy rouine.

I can swing by the pet store and grab puppy pads.
