Getting Ready
- Took me HOURS! Made my son laugh!

The dress and
the photographer. Note the Red Jacket!
OK - So I only
took a few pounds off - took 18 months to gain it - it will take that
long to lose it.
But the dress I made came out nice. Love that QVC jewelry (Nolan Miller).
Dig the gray stretch limo. Of course, I couldn't possibly slide across
the seat too far now could I!
All this chocolate
--- And Fabio too! My son is giggling.
The pastry chef left samples of everything. (At 2AM) You have to go there!
Save your pennies! Fabulous food!

The waiter
said, "Kiss on the cheek!" - I turned my head faster!

OK - it's 3AM
and my son said ," Geez Mom, your hand kept going up there!"
Right on! I wanted to nap in place!
He said, "But
I have no energy! It's 3AM!"
To which I said, "Up against the wall, Fabio! It's for the website!"

Not bad for
a guy who pushed a 450 lb motorcycle uphill for four miles
battled its repair, got home at 6:15 PM and only had 45 minutes to shower
and shave!
Pretty sharp! And we'd been talking for SEVEN HOURS by this shot!
In February, 2000,
on Valentines Day, Donnamaie White (author) whipped out her checkbook
and $5,000 to buy a dinner with Fabio at an auction benefiting the
Big Brother's of Greater Los Angeles. It was her second date
with the King of Romance, since she had won him for three times
that amount in Little Rock at an auction benefiting the Make
a Wish Foundation in 1997. The second date was scheduled for
July 8th, in LA.
On July 7, 2000, just as she was about to open the door to leave
for the airport, the doctor called with bad news. Her 18-yr old
son, Johnathan White (RT photographer at the Toronto and Orlando
conventions), had just been diagnosed with acute ALL Leukemia and
she, "Couldn't wait 'till Monday. They are waiting for him
now." She cancelled the date with Fabio and admitted her son
to Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, Stanford, 30 minutes later.
For two years they have fought infections, Spinal Meningitis, drug
side effects and a few "touch and go" comas. Eric (Fabio's
manager) and Fabio had told her they would hold the date for her
until she could reschedule. They sent emails of encouragement throughout
the ordeal.
Johnathan came home in a wheelchair in February 2001. He got up
out of the wheelchair in early 2002, and to celebrate his walking
and his being in remission for two years, Donnamaie rescheduled
her postponed date with the Blond Italian whose website (www.FabioIFC.com)
she maintains. Delayed exactly two years to the day, on July 8,
2002, Johnathan joined his mom and Fabio at the Breeze restaurant
in Century City for an elegant dinner. Fabio even let her have chocolate.
