2003 Story Set
| Date: November 28, 2003 EVIDENTLY ----- the APPLE PANTHER - 10.3 OPSYS on the G5 Mail program (NOT EUDORA) has AI (Artificial intelligence) and when you hit a delete - spam or whatever it was he showed me key --- the damn program LEARNS it! READS THE MESSAGE and then can filter ANY MESSAGE that it thinks matches that! Like the 419 SPAM messages And the 99 messages - all from different people on penile growth etc. I SAID THAT WAS WHAT PEOPLE HAD TO GET!!!!! HA!!! Cuts down my son's SPAM from 100's to a few manageable ones and counting. I HAVE TO GET PLUGGED IN!!!! Of course - there is a vicious problem ------ if I don't have to correct firmware update the G5 will eat any disk firewired to it ----. Like my whole G4 drive!!!! YIKES! My son went to do Panther on his laptop and it dinged his system - mismatched firmware updates. I gave him a box of blank DVDs to off-load 20 GIG. He has to redo his whole drive. (One of his laptops). NOT SMART APPLE!!! Thank heavens my G5 is still in its box! |
