2003 Story Set
| Date: Tuesday December 23, 2003 We have a hospital run day - hope the van starts! If it doesn't - I am driving to Sears and buying a start yourself unit (charger and jump starts) . Sick of calling the AAA. I haven't driven the beast in a few days ------. The 87 Van goes to Pediatric hospital parking lot. We have candy, a bear and tapes for the hospital - day hospital unit - I should give them one more of the loose old TVs I have. We did the hospital run - then came home and ate Buffalo patties and beans - then chips in hot sauce and cheese. Then ran to the movies - Haunted House - and the theater had NO HEAT!!! I was in my Alaska fleece jacket - jeans and sneakers - my NOSE HURT and I was FROZEN when we came out. Then, defrosted a bit, I was dragged out to shop. I went wild at Men's Warehouse - for both boys. Got my younger son a new leather jacket and more buttercream slik pullovers. A butter-brown leather suede jacket - two new shirts (long sleeve) - since I had put Chlorox on two of his ------. I got two for my older son. (He hated them.) We ran to Toy's R Us - but ------ it's all junk!!! (Well of course - Christmas is days away!) So I am home looking at Booty Call for Dr. Phil -----. Lose 20-30 pounds in 10 weeks --- and he has a new book --- right -----. I ran to the kitchen and made Gingerbread cookie dough in my Kitchen Aide Mixer. Love it!!! Dough and turkey in my son's refrigerator Iittle did I know that he had it turned up real cold----) Bake tomorrow. I will have my two boys eating their little heads off. I am always amazed at how much turkey they can consume. I tent my turkey in a disposable pan and non-stick Reynolds's wrap. Use a cookie sheet to hold it. Never found a roaster big enough. I like to do turkeys and have leftovers - cheap meat that way. When I lived alone - a turkey could run 30 days with me - I'd bag and freeze it, stuffing, gravy, vegetables and potatoes and all. |
