2004 Story Set
| Date: July 23, 2004 OK - my son had his cord yanked out - LITERALLY - this morning. They pushed and patted - then pulled - whang!!! Dr held it in one hand - pressed down on my son with the other (hole in the vein). My son's eyes rolled back he flinched big time - I had been looking away - oh yes Heavy pressure - about 20 minutes. I have to watch him - get him drinking 90 oz a day ------. Clinic on Mondays now. One day a week running over the bridge (now $3.00 a day). YEAH!!!!! BIG STEP TOWARD NORMAL. He is doing very, very well. I guess the $58,000 remodel was worth it. he has 500 sq ft -clean room - filters new furnace and central air ducts etc etc etc. Worked. Worth it. Last night - we had real pizza with cheese ----. reheating other half now - lots of veggies and some meat thin crust. Not a high carb item. Not a low one either. Another big step. I went for patterns to the pattern store - got a bunch - but not the ones I went for ---- Butterick - new ones - 99 cents each. they didn't have the ones I wanted - the brand new just out in the catalog ones. I wanted a special jacket - the rage for fall. I have tried several times to make one. I found the exact fabric. I hunted for patterns - I found no two-way stretch fabric yet. Double knit is back. I came home - saw the jacket in a catalog - $74. I have fabric for three (one a printed suede) and patterns all under $200 - not too bad. I'll check back for the patterns I wanted or order them from Butterick direct. I am into craft items. Well - we shall see if this works - SPAM down to 47-50 per 8 hours instead of 550 and Apple AI catches all but 5-6 of them. That I can handle. So I download LESS and then read or know about LESS and check email FASTER. I am not on a standard ISP provider you see- I have a special server deal. I finally got them to turn on the filter. Just in time to switch to DSL. He's sitting up - his room is warm - he likes it that way. Must go knock laundry off the bed so I can sleep - or knock stuff off his couch and sleep in there. na --- want my bed----. Hope they finish my bedroom soon!!!!! |
