Day Off Continues

2004 Story Set

Date: June 13, 2004
My friend says I am a brave woman to do all that stuff with the dressing and the needles etc.
I was shaking through the whole ordeal of changing his dressing, flushing the lines, changing the end-caps.
      I was gritting my teeth.
      I was a wreck.
      My son cheers me on.
      Hands me things.
Reminds me of steps in case.

What I like to do is kiss him right in the center of his bald head with red lipstick -------

I made him a green pepper (diced) onion (diced) Elephant garlic (diced) with pepper and garlic powder and salt added and ham (diced) with eggs omelet.
      He ate 1/2.
      I ate the rest (great!)
I have leftover onion - pepper - garlic - etc - stuff to put in omelets tomorrow.

Watering the yard - the said yard after an hour - I went out - moved the thing - looked for where it had been - water GONE.
Dry as a bone out there (no auto sprinklers).
The plum, peach and apple trees are going to fall over they have so much fruit! (Already ripe - small but ripe).
I am doing 6 loads of laundry.
Need to iron - my son's new clothes need pressing!!!! YUCK!
      Need to type.
      Need to go shopping.
      Some day off!!!!

Dog opened another screen door and I dumped water over her head.
Dog is now pissed at me.

Cats did NOT get out. Good!
Ranger snarling at Little Bit - because she was out for a day before.
He does not forgive that easily.

I got a pendant from Joan Rivers - interchangeable and humongous that matches my other stuff.
I was looking for a black something.
      Made me feel better.

We are day 81 - so far so good.
His counts are good enough that we get to take days off.
This means I don't have to drive to the hospital on those days - but I do flush his lines.

We will try Mon Wed Fri schedule.

Next week (about day 90) they will do a bone marrow test to see how we are doing.
They want 95% to be donor cells.

He is doing really well - looks good (lost weight but still good).
Walks OK - sits on the computer all day long ------.
Talking to chicks in the chat room.

I am very pleased so far.
