2004 Story Set

I had said I had it out --- just needed to know if I needed thing ripped off walls (turns out - days later - when the contractor pulled the burned microwave off to put up the new one - oh yes - there were scorch marks - the fire was making a chimney between microwave and cabinet wall. Egads! I was right - rip stuff down next time guys!!! A little more and there WOULD have been a fire in the wall!!!) Shucks - I was braless in shorts hair wild - I had been cleaning all day - was tired. 8 cute guys - I am a mess. NOT FAIR!!!! Insurance pays for that repair - all but $1000 - I already filed a claim - or opened one and called the contractor. After getting the inheritance check ($$$$0 2 hours after the fire, I'll pay my Visa bill in peace now and upgrade my microwave. Haven't set my W4 down yet and was running out of cash - timely. They will rip out the kitchen piece Monday (Just oven and microwave - the oven with the new door handle on the floor) I was naked (showered) but for bra and panties - in the family room when Andy (the contractor arrived) - I screamed WAIT!!!- my sonthrew me a blanket. Andy had crabs (the shellfish) cooked and ready (We are going to Deb's for dinner) tomorrow I must go find a new stove and microwave I had turned on the ceiling fan in my bedroom - thought it was OK the blades are BLACK and the laundry is COATED I will have to do sheets when I get home The ceiling in the kitchen was hanging black webs - anything that the smoke could stick to was black - easy to see to clean). Took photos - towel I used to put out the fire is burned - I washed it but it is shot so I tossed it The Christmas tree is outside for tomorrow's fun and games Firemen blew leaves into my house with their "big" fan (our fan is bigger than yours is). I sprayed with Lysol and had three high-powered fans running for hours black goo everywhere on the fans My drapes prob need cleaning House was BLACK - carpet needs shampooing. honest to GOD I did not hear the kitchen alarm - it was another one that called me we have a few words about my cooking and walking out of the room I told the firemen I was having a contest with a friend of mine about burning up the kitchen and I won - Pepper told me that Yes I had and she wasn't going to try to best me. Good thing. I never want to best myself either. |
